The Eco Home: Sustainability from the Ground Up

Located in Brenham, Texas, the Bluebonnet Eco Home puts the power of nature on full display. Built using state-of-the-art, energy-smart technology, this 1,284-square-foot home is a model of green innovation. Even if you aren't ready to make a big investment, the home also offers some no-cost ideas to help improve your energy efficiency.

Visitors are welcome. Schedule a tour to see the latest green-building technology firsthand, including renewable energy generators, low-flow plumbing, energy-smart appliances, geothermal heating and cooling and more. The Eco Home is open to students, homeowners, builders and Bluebonnet members interested in learning about electricity and conservation.
