Bluebonnet offices will be closed in observance of Labor Day

Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative’s offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 4, in observance of Labor Day. Bluebonnet’s control room is staffed 24 hours a day, every day. Should an outage occur, Bluebonnet personnel will be on call Labor Day weekend to restore power as quickly and as safely as possible.

Bluebonnet Director Suanna Tumlinson resigns from co-op board

Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative Director Suanna Tumlinson resigned from the co-op’s board of directors. Tumlinson, who represents District 2, Travis County, on the 11-member board of directors, will continue to serve on the board until Dec. 31, 2017.

“It has been one of my greatest joys and privileges to serve Bluebonnet’s members on the board of directors,” Tumlinson said. “However, recent changes in my professional and personal life make it necessary for me to resign from the board. I will forever treasure the friendships I made with my fellow directors and Bluebonnet’s employees and members.”
