The powerful storms that moved through Central Texas Memorial Day caused extensive damage to Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative’s electric system and prolonged outages for co-op members across its entire 3,800 square mile service area. The number of outages peaked Monday at 9 p.m. with 248 reported outages affecting 6,061 members.
