The cooperative’s Board of Directors made the decision to avoid endangering the health of its members, employees and communities from the spread of the coronavirus. The decision adheres to federal and public health guidelines restricting large public gatherings.

Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative lowered its electric rate beginning with bills mailed on Dec. 1. The rate reduction equates to a $2.50 savings per month for the typical Bluebonnet residential member, who consumes an average of 1,200 kilowatt hours per month.
