    Power out? Now you can monitor and report Bluebonnet power outages from the convenience of your mobile device.
  2. Pay Bills
    Save time by paying your bill from any location.
  3. Monitor Usage
    Keep an eye on your energy bill. View your cost to date and projected monthly bill, and compare it to your last bill. Stay informed and adjust your energy use accordingly.
  4. View Carbon Footprint
    What does your energy use equal in pounds of trash? Or tanks of gas? Measure your environmental impact with a view of your carbon footprint.

Stay on Top of Your Energy Use

Sign up for text and email alerts to have the latest information on your energy use sent straight to you. That way, you can make informed choices to keep your budget on track.

Set up alerts when you:

  • Exceed a certain dollar amount
  • Reach a set energy use
  • Experience daily usage spikes
  • Have outages at your service address

You also have the option of receiving a weekly or monthly email report, which includes your current cost, use and environmental impact.

Setting Up Alerts

It’s easy to start receiving alerts. All you have to do is:

  1. Sign in to your online account
  2. Click on Preferences
  3. Choose which alerts you want

Reporting Outages

Bluebonnet members can report a power outage four ways.

1. Call our outage number, 800-949-4414 
Our automated system is available 24 hours a day, every day. The system will prompt you to provide information we need to locate the outage. You can also leave a voice message with additional information and details, which will be routed to our control room operators, who are always on duty.  
2. Use our mobile app 
From the home screen of our mobile app, you can use your smartphone to report an outage by tapping the hyperlinked telephone number 800-949-4414. Or, when logged in to the mobile app on your smartphone or tablet, you can report an outage by tapping the Outage button at the top of the Dashboard screen, then follow the prompts. 
3. From our website
Click on Report Outage on the navigation bar at the top of any page and follow the prompts. To report an outage online, you will need to sign in to your online account. If you haven’t created an online account, it’s quick, easy and secure. Just click on the Register Now link and follow the directions.
4. By text message 
Text bboutage to 85700 from your mobile phone or tablet, and follow the prompts.
