PCRF - Power Cost Recovery Factor
Part of Bluebonnet's rate (power supply) is used to recover (or pay for) a set amount of our power cost. As the cost of purchasing power rises above that set amount, Bluebonnet implements the PCRF in order to recover (pay for) the additional cost. The Power Supply portion of your bill is what Bluebonnet expects to pay for power from the LCRA. When the price Bluebonnet pays for power increases above $0.072674, we implement the PCRF to cover the difference.
