Our Business

The electric business is, as you might expect, an enormous, essential and ever-growing industry. There are three main types of electric-service providers: investor-owned utilities, municipally-owned utilities and electric cooperatives. All Texas providers are overseen by the Public Utility Commission of Texas at the state level and by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission at the national level, and interact with many other state and national agencies and organizations.
